their message.

I work with financial advisors to find the stories you already tell every day, polish them into the version of your voice on your best day, and put them in front of the right people. First in a book that builds your authority and pre-sells your ideal clients before you ever meet them. Then on the podcasts they're already listening to.

The real problem

You already have the stories. A book and a podcast tour put them in front of a much bigger audience.

Most financial advisors I work with already connect powerfully with the people right in front of them. The client they helped through a sudden job loss. The couple who finally retired after years of worry. The widow who said "you have my faith." Those stories land because they're real, and you know how to tell them.

The question isn't whether your message is good. It's how many people get to hear it. A book captures your best stories and thinking in a form that reaches people you've never met. A guest podcast tour takes your message to a much bigger audience that could benefit from the work you do.

How we work together

Two stages.
One sharpened message.

Stage 1 · The book

Start with the book.

Sharpening your message starts on the page. We work together to find the stories you already tell every day, shape them into a short, focused book, and turn it into the asset that builds your authority and pre-sells your ideal clients before you ever meet them.

Stage 2 · The guest podcast tour

Then take it on the road.

Once your book is in the world, we go to work on two things at once. First, getting you booked on the podcasts your ideal clients actually listen to. Second, preparing you to nail those appearances by rehearsing your stories and sharpening your message for the spoken format.

What this looks like in practice

Three advisors.
One sharpened message each.

Paul McManus, founder of Influential Advisor Media

Paul McManus · Founder, Influential Advisor Media

The two-week sprint that became the methodology.

When my brother Paul got invited on the Michael Kitces podcast, we worked every single day for two weeks. An hour a day, minimum. Saturdays and Sundays included.

We rehearsed until he couldn't get it wrong. That podcast appearance helped generate close to $1 million in new revenue for his business. It also became the foundation of the rehearsal method I now use with every advisor I prepare.

Jason Wendt, financial advisor and NBC Chicago contributor

Jason Wendt · Financial Advisor, Chicago

From book launch yacht party to NBC Chicago contributor.

Jason published his book and held a launch celebration on a yacht with 50 guests in Chicago. A few weeks later, he had breakfast with a longtime friend who happens to be a producer at NBC Chicago. They got to talking about the book.

That breakfast turned into a recurring spot as the financial contributor on NBC Chicago's morning program, plus speaking engagements at Chicagoland universities. Without the book, that breakfast is just breakfast. With the book, it's a producer realizing he has the right person sitting across from him.

Morgan Nichols, financial advisor and podcast guest

Morgan Nichols · Financial Advisor

From "I'm not a storyteller" to the biggest podcast in her space.

When Morgan came to me to prepare for her first podcast appearance, she led by telling me her co-author was the one with the stories and that she just liked to "nerd out on the numbers." She didn't think she was a storyteller.

Within a few months of working together, Morgan had appeared on multiple podcasts, booked one of the biggest shows in her space, and texted me to ask if she should do three podcasts in one day. The identity shift was real. The stories had been there the whole time. We just sharpened them.
