How do I know which level I actually need?
If you read your book today and the core message still holds — you just need to update the details — that’s a Light Refresh. If you’d be uncomfortable handing it to a top prospect because the positioning, the stories, or the language no longer reflects how you work and who you serve, that’s a Partial Rewrite. Still not sure? That’s exactly what the 15-minute consultation is for.
Will it still sound like me?
We’re not rewriting your ideas — we’re updating how they’re expressed. Your frameworks, your philosophy, and your voice are the foundation. We work from your manuscript, your interview calls, and your direction, and nothing goes to final without your review and sign-off.
How much of my time does this actually take?
For a Light Refresh: one 60-minute call, plus the time it takes you to mark up your manuscript and pull together your updated bio and contact details — most clients handle that in an afternoon. For a Partial Rewrite: one to three interview calls of 30–60 minutes each, plus review time on the revised draft. You’re not writing anything — you’re talking and reviewing, and we do the rest.
At what point should I just write a new book instead?
If your core message has fundamentally shifted — new niche, new methodology, new ideal client — a new book is probably the right answer. A refresh works when the foundation is still solid and what’s changed is the expression of it, not the idea itself. If you’re genuinely not sure which side of that line you’re on, don’t guess — the consultation exists precisely to help you make that call before you spend anything.
